Trust in the Lord

"Hezekiah trusted in the LORD, the God of Israel. There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, either before him or after him" - 2 Kings 18:5
Not even any of the great kings or wise kings of Judah that one can think of, is comparable to Hezekiah. Not because Hezekiah was mighty; not because he was righteous and holy; not because he had the largest army in his time; not even because he was wiser than the others but simply because He trusted in the Lord God of Isreal. Is it not written "...'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty." - Zech 4v6

"Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man" - Psalm 60v11. Perhaps you are on your way to an interview this morning or you are on the verge of clinching that deal of contract and your trust is in man; oh, Its unfortunate to announce to you that you are on the path to failure, because "...Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm..." - Jer 17:5. I plead with you today, put your trust in God solely and He will amaze you in all your doings. Hear the goodnews: "Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is" - Jer 17:7. There is always a blessing attached to trusting the Lord wholeheartedly just like the bible related to it that there was no King in Judah like Hezekiah, either before or after him all because He trusted in the Lord. God bless you.
