Before you call

"And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear" - Isaiah 65v24

And It shall come to pass in your life; in your finances; in your academics; in your marriage; in your career; in your ministry and in all that concerns you this month. Before you call the Lord will answer and while you are still asking - behold your request is already in your hands. AMEN.

What a promise from God this wonderful day. I want you to be excited by this word today and let it make your day. Confess it with boldness in your car; as you walk your way to school or the office this day. Confess it like you mean it and believe in the power behind the word and I assure you it will work for you. From now on you dont have to doubt in your hearts whether what you have prayed about is going to come through or not. Just believe in your heart and you will recieve. God bless you today.

THE NAME OF THE LORD

"The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe" - Proverbs 18v10

Its something of great joy to be aware that we have a hiding place. We have a refuge; a fortress where we can run to at any time of trouble. The interesting thing is that, the fortress we are talking about here, lies in the name of the King of kings and the Lord of lords. The bible confirms it this way; "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth" -Phillipians 2v9-10

Yes, when we learn to hold the name of Jesus in our heart and at the tip of our tongues both day and night; we are safe. The reason is that; its not only things on earth that bows to that name; even things under the earth and in heaven bow to the sound of that name. For this reason, we are safe; we are secured. Beloved, as you go out today; make sure that name goes along with you. Confess it. As you set out; say this little prayer: "Lord Jesus, I have come to understand that your name is a strong tower, help me to hold your name dear to my heart and always on my tongue too, all my days. Amen" Have a great day.

REJOICE

"Rejoice alway, again I say unto you rejoice" - Phil 4v4

Why are you wieghed down? Just like David when He asked; "why are you cast down O my soul?" It might be very difficult to unravel why you unhappy with yourself or with happenings around you but one thing is certain; you are still alive neither dead nor buried in the grave. Because you are amongst the living today, this verse is specially meant for you. You are to rejoice all the way... and dont stop after rejoicing, keep rejoicing. There should be no moment when you are down and perplexed. Let every of your moments today be filled with joy, laughter and praise to your maker.

"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord" - Psalm 150v6. Because you are reading this, I am confident and sure you have breath and you are not excluded from this; celebrate your God. Be happy. Praise the Lord. If there is anything you are expecting God to do; praise Him because He has already done it. The bible says, He is fearful in praises; in other words, He rises when His children praise Him. Dont stop praising him today - in the morning, in the noon time, in the evening; let your praises rise to him as a sweet smelling savour. REJOICE ALWAY!

...BY THE WORD OF HIS POWER

"...who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high" - Hebrews 1v3

What I would like to stress in that verse is the fact that God, upholds ALL THINGS by the word of His power. In other words, Everything exist because His mouth has spoken it. Every life is still here and here because His words is upholding it. Our situations and circumstances, would be better if we know what word God has spoken concerning us; academically, materially, spiritually, career wise and on everyside.

We just need to understand the word of God upholding that situaition of our lives and continue to speak it into being. Lots of people have sat down complacent and weighed down by what their situation is saying and have become engrossed in their own words instead of discovering God's word for that situation of their lives and begin to confess it. The bible says "And God said, Let their be light and their was light" which means, God just have to speak it and thats it! We have his word in our hands and in our hearts, Let us learn to speak it always in all situations; good or bad. We should not stop confessing His words.

Furthermore, Remember the words of Paul in Romans 10v8 when he quoted from Deut 30v14 when he said "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming" . Indeed the word is near us; we have access to it; we have it right there with us. The bible further said in John 1v14 "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us , (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth". Which means the word is closer to us more than we can ever imagine. Lets learn to cherish it, feed on it and live it.

As you set out today, confess God's positive words. Say Good things about yourself, your job, your academics, your spouse, your family, your ministry, your career, your future. Confess positively. God bless you.

I WILL COME

"For this is the word of promise: 'At this time I will come and Sarah shall have a son'" - Romans 9v9

At this time I will come, and Sarah shall have a son is the word that hit me the most in that verse. You know what ministered to me? God has not come yet, that is why we are worried about certain things in our lives; He hasn’t come yet that is why we are bothered; He is yet to come that is why we are thinking we are forsaken; He is about to come that is why we feel its not possible; He hasn’t showed up that is why we are weeping and crying over certain issues of our lives; all we have to do is pray; Lord, show up; Lord, Come! Lord, please come in these situations of my life.

Perhaps you don’t get it; "At this time, I will come and Sarah shall have a son - and you will have answers to all your questions; and you will have solutions to all your problems; and you will have joy for every morning. Beloved, I prophesy on you that over every situation of your life, God's coming will not tarry; He will not delay; He will show up and you will not be ashamed. Sarah was in a situation of shame; She was too old and the possibility of bearing a child was becoming more and more evident each day until God showed up.

Look at the miracle God gave to Sarah, a miracle she couldn’t hide; one that she doesn’t need to share the testimony, the testimony is already sharing itself. Can one hide the pregnancy of a baby? Never! God is just too wonderful! That will be your testimony before the end of this year in Jesus’ name. Amen! God will show up in all aspects of your life in Jesus' name. You will not be ashamed.

Forget those things which are behind... Looking forward!

"Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before" - Phil 3:13

Perhaps you are too weighed down by situation and circumstances that has made up your past. Maybe you are just not happy with some happenings of the past that you just don't seem to be able to get over and its affecting your progress. I'd advice this morning that we follow Paul's advice... Just embark on this one goal this week... "Forgetting those things which are behind!" Once you are able to overcome that past, the next would be to look forward. And guess what? What lies ahead is much more greater.

Look at this; "For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious" - 2 Corinthians 3:11. This is God's word concerning you. He isn't done with you yet! He says; that glory He is about to bring upon your life; that glory that lies ahead of you is nothing compared to whatever is it that you have seen in the past. "Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, neither has it come to the heart of man what the Lord has in store for them that love Him" HALLELUYAH! If you believe this; get up on your feet, jump up, beat your chest and shout - GREATER GLORY LIES AHEAD OF ME. Amen. I wish you a glorious week ahead.

THE TRUTH WE PROCLAIM

"He replied, "Whether he is a sinner or not, I don't know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!" - John 9v25

You now, the problem with a lot of us is that we often get carried away by what people say and what is happening around us that we have no answer for those who question the existence of our God. Look at that reply; that man had a testimony. He had just been healed from blindness and some people were trying to find out some information about Jesus from Him. I am too certain that was an answer capable of shutting off further critiques of Jesus. "I might not know any other thing about him but one thing I am very sure of... that which used to be is no more!"

Wow, if you are reading today, I pray that this kind of proclamation is coming your way soon. In your academics, in your finances, in your career, in your matrimonial home; you will say with all confidence; "I was... but now I..." The bible says "They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the truth they proclaim" - Revelations 12v11. As you set out today, proclaim that truth like never before. Shout it loud. That truth is the word of God concerning you. Amen!

Many are the afflictions... but....

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all” (Psalm 34:19).

Many! Many!! Many!!! Sooooooo good the verse didn't stop there. If you notice, there is 'But' just right after that first phrase - thats the goodnews! Although the afflictions of the righteous are many but still the righteous has one thing that makes him/her ever secure and confident; its the fact that he has a deliverer who is still in the business of delivering him out from of all of them. I dont know what afflictions you are passing through right now. Affliction to me, might not be affliction to you.

To a student affliction might be failing for so many times or not getting the right grades; to a business man, affliction might be recording loses than profits; to the civil servant, affliction might be not getting the right incentives at the right time; I dont care what name your affliction bares: One thing I care about is this word that is through and true; yea and amen and it says "No matter your affliction, the Lord will deliver you out of them all" As you set out today, just believe it. Your affliction is coming to an end. Hold on to the word and confess it. God bless you.

FEAR NOT; IT IS HIS GOOD PLEASURE...

"Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom" - Luke 12v32

I once heard of a statistical report that the phrase 'fear not' appears 365 times in the bible - One can then put it this way, God is assigned one for each day. The one I believe He has assigned for today is that one right up there... "Fear not... for it is your father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." For as many as are looking around for where help is going to come from today; For as many as are not sure whether their prayers is going to get answered or not; for as many as are not even sure of the future... Listen! It is your father's good pleasure; It is your father's utmost desire; It is your father's greatest wish to give to you the kingdom.

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ" - Eph 1v3. In case you dont know, God has already blessed you with all spiritual blessings and if only you can wait a little more, its going to manifest in the physical. Fear not my brother/Sister, it is the will of your father to bless you at any given time. He takes no pleasure in seeing you suffer or being in need. He knows just exactly what he wants to do. Have a blissful day.

IT IS WELL

"Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds" - Isaiah 3v10

To those who are doubtful of how the day is going to look like; to those who are not sure of how that interview will go; to those unsure of the future; I have brought this good news from the one who says Yes and no one dares says No. He said I should tell you (the righteous) that it shall be well with you.

You need no calculation of how things would be. Rest assured, it shall be well with you, your possession and your household. The bible says "No evil will befall you neither shall any plague come near your dwelling" and it went on to say "He will give His angels charge over you lest you dash your foot against the stone". In other words, God is with you in every step of the way. It just must be well; no other option to it. Have a great day!

SMILE.. Jesus has brought Life!

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."

Recently I was catching fun on facebook when I met with a particular question in one of the applications I was on: the question went thus; "If you can go back into your life, what are those things you would like to correct?" Indeed, I looked back and within me I knew there are lots I would love to go back and correct. So many mistakes and misdeeds. Many people I should not have related with; so many conversations I had that I shouldnt have ventured into; many relationships I shouldnt have entered into; many gifts I should not have accepted; some things I shouldnt have bought that I bought and so on.
If you happen to be in my shoes; those were the moments and times when the devil came to steal one thing or the other from our lives. But one thing we have for sure (those who are in christ Jesus), the bible says "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come" - 2 Cor 5v17. The goodnews is "...the new has come" Christ has brought us life abundantly. We need not regret anymore about those things we have done in time past; what we have to do now is SMILE. He says in His words "Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old; behold I will do a new thing..." Isa 42v18&19.

As you set out today, set out in that light that Jesus has brought life abundantly unto you. If you are yet to recieve christ into your life, this is the first thing you need to do before you attain that life in abundance with christ. I'd like to introduce you to this wonderful blog that would help you (http://lettersofgrace.blogspot.com/). God bless you. Have a great day!

With God, nothing shall be impossible

"For with God nothing shall be impossible" - Luke 1v37

If you have ever asked; "Can this thing be?" Just like myself, I am believing God for a scholarship towards my PhD programme and I have once asked; "can it be possible?" Today, after church, I went out to play soccer and on my way back, across the road there is a church I saw that has that verse written on its glass wall. As I walked my way back home, I jumped and leaped with ecstacy knowing God was talking to me and not to any other.

I have the same message for you today. Perhaps you have asked yourself if its ever possible to get that promotion you seek in your workplace; maybe you have ever pondered over the posibility of buying a car in this present economy; peradventure you have gone to so many places in search of a job and all you get it 'no vacancy'; or you are about to take that tough exam and it seem, would you ever make it? I have brought you goodnews and the goodnews is... "With man it might be impossible but with God, nothing is impossible" Matt 19:26. Have a great day because nothing will be impossible for you today. AMEN!

Seek Him and You will not Lack

"The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing" - Psalm 34:10

One interesting thing about this verse is that its nothing talking about everybody. Its only talking about the few people; not the majority; those who seek the Lord. Another version says "...they that trust in the Lord." The question this day is; are you among the few? Because they that seek/trust in the Lord shall not lack any good thing.

What is it in your life that you have been lacking and you need a divine intervention in? What is that thing that you are really believing God to attend to? I have a solution to that problem of yours. The solution is seek the Lord. The bible says "I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me' - Prov 18v7. What a promise we have there; if only we can seek Him, we will sure find him. Beloved, its time to seek the Lord. Walk through this wonderful day having that confidence that as you seek him, you will find him and you will not lack any good thing. Have a Jolliful day.

I can do ALL THINGS

"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me" - Phillipians 4:13

I dont know what you woke up with this morning. Perhaps you have woken up and feeling discouraged or torn apart; work doesnt seem too good a place to think about going this morning or perhaps there is a challenge you are facing in your academics and you just seem to be fed up of every and all things around you. I have brought goodnews to you this morning from the Lord of lords, the King of kings; the one who made the whole earth in six days; the one who is the Lion of the tribe of Judah; the one whom by His hands the red sea parted; the one that fed the five thousand; the one who was, who is and is to come; the I am that I am; the one in the burning bush...He says I should tell you "You can do all things!"

Perhaps you heard me wrongly; its not some things. ALL THINGS! Whether its that difficult project on your table; perhaps its that assignment you have to submit on monday; maybe its that debt you have to pay before the weekend runs out; whatever challenge you may have; the goodnews applies to you; "You can do ALL things" No by the works of your hands or by your own wisdom but "...through Christ that strengthens you". WOW! can you imagine what you can achieve when God's strength is given unto you. when His hands is just involved in that endeavour of yours. Oh! what a word this morning. We can do ALL THINGS (with the exclusion of nothing) through christ that strengthens us. Amen

If you believe this word as much as I do believe it. I want you to put your hands on your chest right now and say this; "Lord I thank you because your grace is sufficient for me and your strength is made available/perfect in my weakness. I need you now Lord in ........... this situation (mention that situation u are in/challenge facing you). Thank you because I can do it. I will make it. I will not fail because you did not fail. Thank you Jesus because it is done. In Jesus' name. Amen". If you have done that; walk majestically into the day treading gloriously and triumphantly. Have a glorious day.

The Spirit of POWER!

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" - 2 Tim 1v17

Indeed God is not the author of fear. Anytime you find yourself afraid, be careful. You probably are not on God's path. He will not put fear in the heart and mind of His own people. God has not given us the spirit of fear (so we are not meant to be afraid of anything or anyone), but the spirit of power (We are meant to rule, reign, dominate and influence; even when we are face with difficulties and dangers), the spirit of love to him, which will carry us through opposition. And the spirit of a sound mind, quietness of mind not to be intimidated and feel inferior.
Dear reader, as you go out this morning, be cut clear that God has deposited in your the spirit of sound mind. Clear, quietness of mind that will make you confident through your way. Let not anyone call you names. Refuse false identity that people might want to allot to you today. Love God and love your neighbours today because thats the spirit that resides within you - that God has given you. The spirit of power; not to be influenced by circumstances and situation but rather you activate circumstance to your favour because the bible says "You shall decree a thing and it shall be established and the light shall shine upon your ways" - that is power! God exercise these God-given spirits today and come tell me about the testimony. It is well.

I know that my Redeemer lives

"I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand upon the earth" - Job 19:25.

Oh! what a day this is. I am so glad about this word this morning that I almost cant think of anything else than this. WOW! "I Know!". Thats the confession. I Know; I am so confident; I am too sure; Nothing can tell me the negative; even If I dont know anything at all; I know this one thing... "...My redeemer lives"

Dear reader, this is God's message for you today. No matter what you are passing through; financially, academically, in your business, your career, your family, your relationship, in your workplace... I've got goodnews for you; Your redeemer is alive. He lives forevermore. Death cannot take him captive. He doesnt fail, so be rest assured you cannot fail. You will make it; you will stand; you will outshine those that seem to have gone ahead of you right now. Wherever you are now, I want you to beat your chest and say; "my redeemer lives, I'm confident". When the devil suggest to you that you are going to fail; reply with the statement; "I will not fail because my redeemer lives" When he says to you; "you will die"; Tell him you've got bad news for him "I will not dies because my redeemer lives". When that sickness knocks on your door, there is only one reply you've got "sickness, this is not your place because my redeemer lives". Stand on that word as if its the only thing that matters today and victory is yours. Have a Jolliful day!

He is thinking about you

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end (...a future and a hope)."

A 10 year old once asked his father, while they went on a walk; "Dad, can you guess what I'd like to be in future?" The father smiled and answered gently, "Yes son! I know you would like to be a medical doctor". Startled at how the father could have guessed right since he had not discussed the topic with his dad before, the boy asked "How come you know?". The father answered: "Because I've been thinking".

God is also thinking about you. Rest assured He thinks of you each time and every step of the way. And guess what; his thoughts towards you are of peace; another version says "...of good" and not of evil to give you an expected end. No matter what you are going through right now, I want you to be rest assured God is thinking. He is planning. He is strategizing. He is factioning a way out to give you that future; that hope you have within you. He says in His words; "For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off" - Prov 23:18. In all you lay your hands upon today, be confident, God is thinking about you. Have a wonderful day.

Trust in the Lord

"Hezekiah trusted in the LORD, the God of Israel. There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, either before him or after him" - 2 Kings 18:5
Not even any of the great kings or wise kings of Judah that one can think of, is comparable to Hezekiah. Not because Hezekiah was mighty; not because he was righteous and holy; not because he had the largest army in his time; not even because he was wiser than the others but simply because He trusted in the Lord God of Isreal. Is it not written "...'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty." - Zech 4v6

"Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man" - Psalm 60v11. Perhaps you are on your way to an interview this morning or you are on the verge of clinching that deal of contract and your trust is in man; oh, Its unfortunate to announce to you that you are on the path to failure, because "...Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm..." - Jer 17:5. I plead with you today, put your trust in God solely and He will amaze you in all your doings. Hear the goodnews: "Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is" - Jer 17:7. There is always a blessing attached to trusting the Lord wholeheartedly just like the bible related to it that there was no King in Judah like Hezekiah, either before or after him all because He trusted in the Lord. God bless you.

The Set Time For Favour

" Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come" - Psalm 102:13

I want you take note of the keywords in that verse: arise; mercy; favour; set time. I have a word for you today from the Lord. God is ready to arise on your situation. He is set to move. He is ready to set you in motion for what He is about to do in your life. He will arise in His mercy and show you great favour in all that you have laid your hands upon.

If you have put your trust in man, I'm sorry to announce to you that you are on your way to the most dreadful failure ever recorded in history. But If your trust is in the Lord, the maker of the Heaven and Earth; He has asked me to announce to you this day that He is set to arise in your situation; that He is set to motion all because of you; that He wont let go until He sees you through. Yes! this is the set time for the Lord to arise in your favour. If you believe this; say AMEN!

JUST BELEIVE

"Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them" - Mark 11:24

This morning's post reminds me of a story; A 5 year old girl was about to sleep and prayed. "Lord, I want you to give my Daddy a car. I don't like the way we go to school in Uncle Ben's car. Father, I believe you have answered my prayer: In Jesus name I have prayed. Amen." Just as you would think; A little child's prayer; so funny. She then went to bed.

In the morning of the next day; She saw something interesting. That morning, her dad drove Uncle Ben's car. Her Dad didn't talk too much to them but was just smiling waiting for the kids to ask. Just as you would guess, the girl asked; "Dad, why are you driving Uncle Ben's car today." With a gentle smile, the father replied "Uncle Ben came to house this morning and dropped his key with a note at the door step that reads; "God blessed my family with a new car last night and God asked me to bless your family with her car; hope you enjoy it." As you can guess, the girl was very happy.

Dear reader, there is one key to a answered prayer; BELIEVE. I don't know what your prayers are when you left the house this morning on you way to work or to school but I have this one advice for you; BELIEVE. You need to believe that you would receive and that it when you will receive. Just like the little girl's faith; pray not minding the circumstance you are in or situation you are passing through - your answer will come. JUST BELIEVE.

The Spirit of God has made me

"The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life" - Job 33:4

In the light of giving thanks this morning for being alive, heal and hearty; I am very sure we all owe it to breath of the Almighty God that has given us life. Whatever is it that we are today; undoubtedly we all owe it to the Spirit of God that has made us. The bible says "It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not" - Lamentations 3:22. Indeed, God's mercies has seen us through it all to be where we are today.

Peradventure you are reading this and you are not happy with what you are; if only you will not give up; I assure you, you are in the process of making. God is not finished with you yet. When He is done with you, you will come out as fine Gold; precious, priceless and adorable.

It is well with your soul.

Surely, There is an end

"For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off" - Prov 23:18

Our Topic today reminds me of the story of a hunter that went hunting with his five year old son and as soon as they got to the bush, there came a heavy downpour. The boy asked, "father, we aint gonna catch anything today; are we?" The father responded with a smooth smile; "Son, this is the best time we can hunt because all the animals will be running helter skelter to find shelter" The boy was amazed at what he thought would be a challenge becoming a blessing.

Dear reader, I have this for you too today; as you set out to go to your workplace or as you embark on that journey or that project; "this is the best time you can do it best!" To every challenge, there is surely and end and in the end, if you will not give up, your expectation shall not be cut off. There is always a blessing in every season; if you can picture it, you can capture it.
