"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" - 2 Tim 1v17Indeed God is not the author of fear. Anytime you find yourself afraid, be careful. You probably are not on God's path. He will not put fear in the heart and mind of His own people. God has not given us the spirit of fear (so we are not meant to be afraid of anything or anyone), but the spirit of power (We are meant to rule, reign, dominate and influence; even when we are face with difficulties and dangers), the spirit of love to him, which will carry us through opposition. And the spirit of a sound mind, quietness of mind not to be intimidated and feel inferior.
Dear reader, as you go out this morning, be cut clear that God has deposited in your the spirit of sound mind. Clear, quietness of mind that will make you confident through your way. Let not anyone call you names. Refuse false identity that people might want to allot to you today. Love God and love your neighbours today because thats the spirit that resides within you - that God has given you. The spirit of power; not to be influenced by circumstances and situation but rather you activate circumstance to your favour because the bible says "You shall decree a thing and it shall be established and the light shall shine upon your ways" - that is power! God exercise these God-given spirits today and come tell me about the testimony. It is well.
