This verse started with a 'But' which elicits that something had been said earlier. It might interest you to know what had been said earlier in the verse preceeding this one. "Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall..." It is certain that no man can prevail by his own strength. The book of 1 sam 2v9 has it to say that "...for by strength shall no man prevail" Likewise, the psalmist said "No King can be saved by the multitude of His army, the mighty man is not delivered by his great strength; A horse a tool for safety but its strength will always fail"
So then, where lies strength that does not fail? Where lies success that is ever abounding? Where lies prosperity that does not cease? Its only in the God of our salvation. The one that makes the heavens and the earth. The Mighty God, the I am that I am, the ancient of days. All He demands is that we wait on Him daily. When we do, all our concerns are taken care of; we are never weary; we will not faint; when others are saying there is a casting down, our confession would be there is a lifting up in Jesus' mighty name. I wish you a great week. God bless you.
